A Lydia Mountain Wedding is both secluded, and surrounded by amazing views. This venue has so much to offer to its couples. With multiple venues scattered throughout the Blue Ridge mountains, it is a perfect place for couples who love the outdoors, and rustic charm. Another key point, it doubles as a Lodge. This is great news for family and guests who might be traveling into town!
Many people do not realize just how big Lydia Mountain is! With the character and charm of four different wedding venues, there is not a shortage of choices at Lydia Mountain! There are four different venues on site: Firstly is the Event Hall, The Pavilion, The Barn at Evermore Farm or The Teenie Sawmill Barn.
Firstly, the Lodge Event Hall is in Lydia’s newest build, an 11-room lodge. This 33’x52′ event hall features tall ceilings and windows, along with a large beautiful rustic masonry fireplace. Of course this makes the space cozy yet elegant. Attached is a 46’x33′ ft deck that over looks the mountains. This is the most common place that couples who book this venue like to have their ceremony!
This venue offers in house catering, planning services, and just a short walk from the bridal suite. It is perfect for weddings of 50 to 100 people, but you can inquire for bigger parties, too. The price for this venue starts at $6800-$8500 depending on how many lodging rooms you book.
Secondly, The Lydia Pavilion features an expansive lawn right beside it. This space is great for medium sized weddings due to its size. The main area is 40’ x 52’ and the deck area is 12’ x 40’. It even has a stage area of 10’ x 15’!
In addition, the venue features bistro lights, mason jar hanging for the ceiling indoor heaters, a marble and stone bar and a stage area. An outdoor tent can be set up and rented from Lydia Mountain for couples needing a bit more space. The ceremony site here is one of my favorites, and just downhill from the venue. In my opinion, it offers one of the best views on the property! The Pavilion rental also includes:
As a result, the prices for this venue are the same as the Barn. 1 day- $2400, 2 days- $3400 and 3 days- $4400
Similarly to the Pavilion, the Barn is also next to a spacious lawn. This venue is down the mountain, away from the other spaces. That is to say it has an amazing mountain view from the valley. The space features a high ceiling, as well as large garage style window doors, rustic columns and bistro lights. This space comes with:
The cost for this space is 1 day- $2400, 2 days- $3400 and 3 days- $4400.
Lastly, the Teenie Sawmill Barn perfect for couples wanting a venue hidden away for a small wedding (less than 50 people). This Barn is 40’ x 32’ and features a large masonry fireplace, a small kitchen, and a wooden serving counter built into sawmill.
This venue also comes with:
Another key point to this venue is that it includes use of the Lily Pad Cottage. This is a 3 Queen bedroom, 2 Full Bath cottage that also has a patio area and fire place. It is the perfect way to start or end your wedding weekend! This venue is $2400 for 3 days.
