This venue is so rich in family history! The Zurschmeide family first bought a farm in the local valley in 1993 and soon after, purchased the beautiful 100-acre mountain property. From the start they had dreams for building a vineyard and orchard. As a result, Bluemont Vineyard was officially born in 2007 as the first grape vines began to produce. The vineyard is now a functioning winery that ships across all 50 states. In addition, they host tastings, cottage stays, events, and weddings.

Sylvanside Farm
This farm venue is a historic mountain farm venue built in 1742 and operating seasonally between March and November. Built by Brigadier General James A. Buchanan in the 1920’s as a wedding venue for his daughter, Buchanan Hall has functioned as an event hall and community center ever since. Inside, the beautifully designed ballroom provides a lovely space for you and up to 150 guests to celebrate any time of year.
