If you are in the midst of planning your wedding, you absolutely need to hire Chancey Charm Weddings. With multiple teams, thirteen locations, and years of knowledge and experience under their belt, your wedding day will run smoothly with them on your vendor team! I had the pleasure to talk to Sarah Chancey, the founder and creative director of Chancey Charm and ask her all of the questions I know you want to read about!
Q: To begin with, what is the most popular service you offer?
Our full planning and design service is our most popular, because it’s comprehensive and takes all the stress away for the clients.
Q: Venues that you particularly like and would recommend to brides, and why?
Gosh, this is tough, but these are our favorites in your service area:
You can find our full list here.
Q: Do you offer services on non-wedding days?
Absolutely! We often help organize brunch for the wedding party day of or rehearsal dinners.
Q: Do you specialize in any particular type of weddings?
We specialize in high-end luxury weddings, where clients want a cohesive design that truly represents them.
Q: How many weddings do you take on per year?
We have a large capacity, because we represent two top-tier planners and their teams in Charlottesville.
Q: How far outside of your location do you serve?
We serve all across the United States and beyond. We just finished a destination wedding in Greece a few weeks ago.
Q: How long have you been a planner?
11 years!
Q: Do you offer any services outside of full planning?
Yes, our planners also offer day of coordination, or month-of as some refer to it.
Q: What made you want to get into planning?
Honestly, I just wanted to serve brides in what can truly be the best and most stressful season of their lives. I wanted to take that stress away, and inspire them all at the same time. I never imagined it would grow into 13 locations.
Q: What is your favorite part of the planning process?
My very favorite part is getting to know the couple and developing a design board for them, nothing is more exciting than seeing their personality and vision come to life online.
Q: What do you like to do in the off season for fun?
I’m a beach girl, so that’s my go to spot, wherever I am! Nothing better than a long walk or sitting on the shore with a la croix.
Q: What would your advice be to brides who currently don’t have a planner?
I would really encourage them to at least consider a month of planner. Don’t view it as an optional vendor, you’ve worked to hard to plan this stunning wedding, and a coordinator will allow you to finally enjoy it!
If you need a planner to do not hesitate to reach out asap to Sarah and her amazing team to book them for your wedding! You can send them a note through their website here. Also make sure to send me a message so that I am there to capture your big day!
