Completed in 2000, the original owners had the idea to design a home fit for royalty and reminisce of English countryside. Before breaking ground on the property, the owners obtained artwork and furnishings from all across Europe. In 2017, the Dover Hall Experiences took over the management of the estate and created an exceptional guest experience.
As a matter of fact, “Approximately 90% of the originally sourced antiquities and art were conveyed with the sale of the estate, juxtaposing a unique blend of history, authenticity, and character with the modern construction of the house.“

There is no limit to the amount of weddings that Dover Hall books a year, if a date is open, they’ll take it. When booking your wedding with Dover Hall, all tables, chairs, linens, glassware and more are included in the facility fee. Dover Hall also provides all food and beverage services- one less vendor for you to have to worry about hiring! If you book your wedding at Dover Hall, you will also receive a complimentary menu tasting. This venue is all about making your experience custom, and high end! Did I mention that they also have built in bars at the venue, available for those who want a bar at their wedding? Such convenience!
The venue and staff have made sure that your getting ready experience is just as divine. The Queen Elizabeth Suite is perfect for brides and bridesmaids for getting hair and makeup services done. Alternatively, the Billiards Room is an ideal space for grooms and their groomsmen to prepare for the big day. The room also holds amenities like a pool table and a 70-inch television (to keep the guys entertained!).

If you are anything like me, I like choices! Dover Hall knows this, and as a result, there are several ceremony spaces across the estate to match your wedding vision. The Reflecting Pool, Bluestone Terrace, Two-Tiered Garden, Rose Garden, and Cobblestone Court are all lovely ceremony spots. Plus, during cocktail hour, guests can enjoy the dreamy gardens and grounds of the venue.Do you prefer an indoor setting or need a back-up rain plan? The Ballroom is also a great space to say “I do”.
Speaking of the ballroom, when it’s time to celebrate, the Ballroom is able to seat up to 150 guests for a plated reception. Not only is there space for live music, but the Ballroom turns into a dance floor where you can dance the night away. Moreover, an additional space has been added to Dover Hall. This new pavilion will be open in June 2023.
“The new Glass Pavilion boasts 13-foot tall glass walls and a 24-foot ceiling with chandelier lighting. At approximately 6,400 square feet, not including a 900-square-foot covered porch, this climate- controlled event space provides ample seating for up to 400 guests.“

Couples who book Dover Hall for their wedding will receive complimentary use of Dover Hall for an engagement photo session. If you want to get a European feeling, Cobblestone Court is a great choice for first look photos, and my personal favorite. The Parlor along with the Queen Elizabeth Suite have amazing natural light and are also good picture spots. The venue also has amazing surroundings and views that make the perfect backdrop. The English-Tudor inspired house is simply stunning itself to take pictures in front of with the vast driveway.
