King Family Vineyards Wedding is a venue with an amazing history, and tons of amenities to offer couples. The venue itself has a chic indoor and outdoor space. Stunning mountain views are surrounding this venue everywhere you turn. The venue space has a 360-degree mountain view including a stunning lawn and stable in the back.
A King Family Vineyards Wedding offers a variety of amenities to make both the bride and groom feel right at home. A spacious and bright dressing suite is located near the front entrance of the barn for the ladies. Near the back of the barn is a gentleman’s lounge. The placing of the two dressing rooms allows for the bride to relax, knowing the groom can’t sneak a peek before the ceremony!
Your reception will look grand in the Carriage House! The reception space hosts up to 200 of your closest friends and family. As a result, King Family provides 200 chairs for the ceremony, reception, and tables. A full-service catering area is available for any approved caterers. Therefore, King Family has an approved list of outside caterers for your wedding! The catering list covers all different food styles and budgets, so there is something for everyone. Worried about where all your guests will park? There is ample space for parking in front of the Carriage House.
There are several options for bar set up for your reception! For example, some weddings have the bar outside facing the sunny mountainside, while other weddings set up indoor bars to have drinks close by in case guests want to take a quick break from the dance floor!
A King Family Vineyards Wedding is the perfect venue to have an amazing reception party. Live music has space for setting up both indoors and outdoors. In addition, the Carriage House has plenty of electrical outlets for the band and any lights you might want to add. An outdoor fire pit is perfect for guests who want to enjoy the outdoors late into the night, and making s’mores is always a great dessert addition!
King Family Vineyards has a heartwarming family business story. The Kings moved to the area in 1995 with their three sons from Houston, Texas. They purchased the original 327 acre farm in 1996. Soon after, a young man knocked on their door and asked if he could lease ten acres for a vineyard. Sparked by his curiosity and research, the family did their homework, and soon hired a vineyard consultant. Six months of hard work later, they had their first eight acres of vines had been planted. Their initial plan was to sell the fruit, but after becoming interested in learning as much as possible, they decided to make wine with a portion of the harvest! After a quick visit to California for ideas, they designed the winery on the back of a napkin. Since then both the vineyard and the business have grown.
The King’s three sons help manage the vineyard now. The late owner, David King, continues to leave his legacy in more than one way, but his love of polo which continues on at King Family Vineyards.
