A House Mountain Inn Wedding is a stunning venue for Virginia couples and destination weddings alike. It is located just outside of Lexington, VA, in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This mountain venue has views every nature-loving couple will appreciate! In addition to the sites, as is in the name, this venue also doubles as a lodge. This is extremely convenient for traveling guests, destination weddings or if you just want to spend the night after your wedding party!
This venue is perfect for the adventurous couples. Found on top of a mountain edge, this venue has so much more than just views to offer its guests!
Just imagine: getting married to the love of your life while looking out over the mountain tops with the sound of running water surrounding you. The inside is just as stunning, with an over floor plan and high ceilings and stone fireplaces. This venue is the perfect mixture of rustic and elegance. In addition to the amazing amenities for your wedding day, this venue also offers lodging!
A House Mountain Inn wedding offers so many flexible locations to host your wedding. When you book your wedding at this venue, the entire Inn yours to use for the weekend!
Firstly, is The Pavilion at House Mountain Inn. This space really will allow you and your guests to experience the spectacular views of the Alleghany Mountains and fresh mountain air! In addition, the Pavilion also hosts views of a waterfall, and spring fed pond. Inside, this space features a stately, stone wood burning fireplace. Picture how cozy your wedding will feel here! It is truly the perfect location to host your rehearsal dinner, cocktail party, and maybe some late night dancing!
Secondly, the Robert E. Lee Ballroom is spectacular. This 3,200 sq. ft. ballroom will only add to your day in an energetic, yet romantic way! Of course, inside there is another stone fireplace, a full-service bar and an outside terrace! This space can accommodate 150+ of your guests. They will love the white pine logs, and thirty-foot post and beam ceilings that this venue has (almost as much as you will)!
Thirdly, House Mountain Inn has several dreamy locations for your ceremony! Of course, getting married in the Pavilion with the mountain view behind you is a classic. Nothing says ‘mountain wedding’ more than this location in my opinion. However, the gardens and pond below are another great option if you want to be closer to nature!
As I have stated above, this venue is best know for its idyllic mountain views, and serene atmosphere. These things are the exact reason why you will have stunning images at this venue! A popular favorite are couples photos down by the pond and gardens. The paths leading down to the pond are dreamy for photos as well! The store fireplace and patio is the perfect location for a first look, or perhaps wedding party photos! Of course you also have to get the classic photo in The Pavilion, looking out to the mountains!
Are you already dreaming of having your wedding at the House Mountain Inn? Wonderful! I highly recommend as soon as you know your wedding date, to contact one of their innkeepers to set up a tour, or visit their website obtain more information! While you are at it, go ahead and send me a message! I’d love nothing more than to be there to capture your biggest day!
